Immersive learning experiences in Beijing and Qingdao
In collaboration with Punu Edu, our study tours take learning beyond the classroom and into the world. This is particularly valuable for students who want to have a hands-on experience of the vibrant culture and life-style of China. Students travel to one of two destinations — Beijing or Qingdao — where they engage in a rich blend of guided classes and hands-on cultural activities. From structured reading and writing workshops to site visits, cultural excursions, and collaborative storytelling projects, each tour is designed to deepen literacy skills while sparking curiosity and a love of learning. Both programmes follow the same core curriculum, adapted to the unique history, language, and culture of each city.
The Beijing study tour immerses students in China's historic capital. Classes cover reading comprehension and creative writing, with lessons drawing on local stories, legends, and contemporary culture. Activities include guided visits to key cultural and historical sites, interactive writing workshops, and group discussion sessions that encourage critical thinking and storytelling.
Set along the beautiful Shandong coastline, the Qingdao study tour blends literacy learning with the city's distinctive character. Students participate in writing classes inspired by the local seascape, attend structured discussion groups, and take part in cultural activities that bring their reading to life. The relaxed coastal setting provides a wonderful backdrop for reflection, expression, and growth.
